2024-05. Long Range Transportation Plan and Inventory Update
At a duly called Regular Meeting of the Council held this 22 day of June, 2024, the following Resolution and Law were adopted.
WHEREAS, the Long-Range Transportation Plan Inventory update project – Phase I and II (PROJECT) IS PRIORITY TO THE Tribe, and;
WHEREAS, the Long-Range Transportation Plan and Inventory update project – Phase I and II (PROJECT) is multiple phases due to the complexes of the Tribal Transportation planning services area for the Tribe, and;
WHEREAS, the PROJECT is identified to be on the Tribal Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), as governed by federal law and regulations, 25 CFR Tribal Transportation Program, and;
WHEREAS, the Tribe may request planning services to be performed for PROJECT by Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Eastern Region, Division of Transportation for the development of a long-range transportation plan and inventory update for the Tribe and;
WHEREAS, the Tribe has estimated $30,000 from the Tribes' Tribal Share funding to be used by the BIA to perform services for the PROJECT for the Tribe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Tribe approves the PROJECT to be identified on the Tribal Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), AND
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tribe approves the Long-Range Transportation Plan and Inventory update project Phase I and II (PROJECT) as a priority to the Tribe, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tribe is requesting services to be performed for PROJECT by Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Eastern Region, Division of Transportation for the development of a Long-Range Transportation Plan and Inventory update project (PROJECT) for the Tribe and;
FINALLY, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tribe approves $30,000 from the Tribes' Tribal Share funding to be used for BIA planning services.

The foregoing Resolution was duly voted upon by the Council on the 22 day of June, 2024, at a Regular Meeting with a vote of 5 in favor and 0 opposed, 0 abstaining, and 2 absent, pursuant to the authority vested in the Council by the Constitution of the Tribe.
