402 Defense of Wildlife Officer Prosecuted on Criminal Charge

If any wildlife officer appointed by the Game Ranger, or the Game Ranger themself, is prosecuted on any criminal charge arising out of any act committed in performing their official duties, the Game Ranger may request special counsel to defend the officer or Game Ranger. The compensation for special counsel employed pursuant to this section, shall, subject to the approval of the Chief, be paid out of the funds appropriated for the administration of this title.
