403 Coordination with Federal Authorities

Any law enforcement officer authorized to enforce the provisions of this title and wildlife regulations shall provide notice of alleged violations to the Prosecutor's Office of the Upper Mattaponi Tribe and the appropriate federal authorities for investigation of potential violations of federal law, where applicable, including but not limited to 16 U.S.C. § 3372 (prohibiting any person from transporting, selling, receiving, acquiring, or purchasing any fish, wildlife, or plant taken or possessed in violation of federal or Tribal law), 18 U.S.C. § 1165 (prohibiting any person from going upon Indian trust lands for the purpose of hunting or fishing without lawful authority or permission), 16 U.S.C. § 1538 (Endangered Species Act), 16 U.S.C. § 668 (Eagle Protection Act), and 16 U.S.C. § 703 (Migratory Bird Treaty Act).
